To study inheritance patterns of atrial fibrillation (AF) and association of primary and secondary AF with gene polymorphism of β1-adrenoreceptors.</p></sec><sec><title>Material and methods</title><p>Material and methods. 103 probands with AF and their 301 relatives of I, II, III degrees (basic group) and 82 probands without heart diseases and their 163 relatives of I and II degrees (control group) were examined. Examination included evaluation of electrophysiological indicators of sinoatrial node, electrocardiogram monitoring, veloergometry, echocardiography as well as assessment of gene polymorphism of β1-adrenoretseptors.</p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results. Accumulation of AF in probands families was founded. Segregation analysis of idiopathic AF revealed autosomal-dominant type of its inheritance.</p></sec><sec><title>Сonclusion</title><p>Сonclusion. The heterozygote genotype of gene β1-adrenoretseptors Ser49Gly is one of genetic predictors of primary and secondary AF.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><sec><title>Цель</title><p>Цель. Установить вероятность и закономерности наследования фибрилляции предсердий (ФП) в семьях, изучить связь первичной и вторичной ФП с полиморфизмом гена β1-адренорецепторов.</p></sec><sec><title>Материал и методы</title><p>Материал и методы. Обследованы 103 пробанда, у которых диагностирована ФП, и их 301 родственник I, II, III степени родства (основная группа) и 82 пробанда, у которых отсутствовали проявления заболеваний сердца, и их 163 родственника I и II степени родства (контрольная группа). Обследование включало определение электрофизиологических показателей функции синусового узла, суточное мониторирование ЭКГ, велоэргометрию, эхокардиографию, а также изучение полиморфизма гена β1-адренорецепторов.</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты. Выявлено накопление ФП в семьях пробандов. Сегрегационный анализ идиопатических форм ФП выявил аутосомно-доминантный тип ее наследования.</p></sec><sec><title>Заключение</title><p>Заключение.
