Dihydropyridine calcium channel blockers show antihypertensive effect due to significant vasoselective action with a minimal impact on a conductive system of the heart. Lercanidipine is a dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker of the third generation with high lipophilicity and long-lasting action. Lercanidipine had shown both in monotherapy and in combination with ACE inhibitors or angiotensin II blockers the good antihypertensive effect with stable BP profile throughout the day, organoprotection that slowed down the progression of HT complications, metabolic neutrality and safety in mild to moderate HT.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Несмотря на прогресс в снижении риска развития осложнений артериальной гипертензии (АГ), контроль за уровнем артериального давления (АД) остается недостаточным. Дигидропиридиновые блокаторы кальциевых каналов проявляют антигипертензивный эффект за счет выраженного вазоселективного действия, оказывая ми-нимальное влияние на проводящую систему сердца. Лерканидипин – дигидропиридиновый блокатор кальциевых каналов третьего поколения с высокой липофиль-ностью и длительным действием, при монотерапии и в комбинации с ингибиторами АПФ или блокаторами ангиотензина II показал хороший антигипертензивный эффект со стабильным профилем АД в течение суток, органопротективное влияние, замедляющее прогрессирование осложнений, метаболическую нейтральность и без-опасность при мягкой и умеренной АГ.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>артериальная гипертензия</kwd><kwd>осложнения</kwd><kwd>блокаторы кальциевых каналов</kwd><kwd>лерканидипин</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>arterial hypertension</kwd><kwd>complications</kwd><kwd>calcium channel blockers</kwd><kwd>lercanidipine</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">2013 ESH/ESC Guidelines for the management of arterial hypertension The Task Force for the management of arterial hypertension of the European Society of Hypertension (ESH) and of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC).
