Secondary prophylaxis in patients with multifocal arterial lesions using antihypertensive, antithrombotic and lipid-lowering therapy provides a more pronounced decrease in the incidence of cardiovascular complications than in lesions of single vascular lesions due to a higher initial risk. However, these treatments do not reduce the risk to the level that is achieved by treating patients with less atherosclerotic lesion. In this regard, it is of interest to use the currently available new methods and regimens of drug therapy in patients with multifocal arterial lesions, which make it possible to more intensively influence the mechanisms of atherosclerosis progression and more effectively prevent the development of its complications.</p>
В связи с этим особый интерес представляет возможность применения у пациентов с МФАП появившихся в настоящее время новых методов и режимов медикаментозной терапии, позволяющих более интенсивно влиять на механизмы прогрессирования атеросклероза и эффективнее предупреждать развитие его осложнений.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>сердечно-сосудистые заболевания</kwd><kwd>мультифокальное артериальное поражение</kwd><kwd>скрининг</kwd><kwd>стратификация риска</kwd><kwd>вторичная профилактика</kwd><kwd>антитромботическая терапия</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>cardiovascular disease</kwd><kwd>polyvascular disease</kwd><kwd>screening</kwd><kwd>risk assessment</kwd><kwd>secondary prevention</kwd><kwd>antithrombotic therapy</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group><funding-statement xml:lang="ru">Публикация статьи поддержана компанией Байер, что никоим образом не повлияло на собственное мнение авторов</funding-statement><funding-statement xml:lang="en">The publication of the article is supported by Bayer, but it did not affect his own opinion of the authors</funding-statement></funding-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Aboyans V, Ricco JB, Bartelink MEL, et al.
