Data on the limited role of beta-blockers in the improvement of patient’s status in stable IHD, data about negative effect of heart rate (HR) reduction on the central aortic pressure, as well as the relationship between HR and risk of complications in the INVEST trial are presented. Verapamil therapy in patients with HT and IHD without heart failure/systolic dysfunction and/or recent myocardial infarction may have advantages due to achievement of the sufficient antiischemic effect with less HR reduction.</p>
При лечении больных АГ и ИБС в отсутствие сердечной недостаточности/систолической дисфункции и/или недавно перенесенного инфаркта миокарда использование верапамила может иметь преимущества в связи с достижением достаточного противоишемического эффекта при меньшем влиянии на ЧСС.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>ишемическая болезнь сердца</kwd><kwd>артериальная гипертензия</kwd><kwd>верапамил</kwd><kwd>частота сердечных сокращений</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>ischemic heart disease</kwd><kwd>arterial hypertension</kwd><kwd>verapamil</kwd><kwd>heart rate</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Fox K., Borer J.S., Camm A.J., et al.
