Menopause influence on the cardiovascular system may be mediated by body fat re-allocation, metabolic, hemodynamic and pro-inflammatory changes. Besides, estrogen deprivation has a direct effect on the arterial wall. Lifestyle modification, lipid-lowering and antihypertensive treatment should be considered for cardiovascular risk reduction in postmenopausal women.</p>
Коррекция факторов риска у женщин в постменопаузе должна проводиться с помощью изменения образа жизни, липидснижающей и антигипертензивной терапии.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>менопауза</kwd><kwd>сердечно-сосудистые факторы риска</kwd><kwd>модификация образа жизни</kwd><kwd>фармакологическое лечение</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>Menopause</kwd><kwd>cardiovascular risk factors</kwd><kwd>lifestyle modification</kwd><kwd>pharmacological treatment</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Gordon T, Kannel WB, Hjortland MC.
