A comparison of ivabradine and omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids, drugs with principally different mechanisms of action, is presented in patients with chronic heart failure (CHF) on the base of GISSI-HF and SHIFT trails results. It is essential to compaire an effect of these drugs on the morbidity and mortality in combined therapy of patients with CHF , because each additional drug may change in compliance to treatment, induces additional costs or may be a reason of new side effects. Additional (to standard therapy) effects of ivabradine and omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids are discussed.

Проводят сравнение ивабрадина и омега-3 полиненасыщенных жирных кислот , препаратов с принципиально различными механизмами действия, у пациентов с хронической сердечной недостаточностью (ХСН) на основе исследований GISSI-HF и SHIFT. Изучение сравнительной эффективности этих препаратов по влиянию на заболеваемость и смертность представляется чрезвычайно актуальной задачей, что связано с необходимостью комплексной терапии пациента с ХСН, в которой добавление каждого дополнительного препарата может быть сопряжено с изменением приверженности лечению, как вследствие экономических причин, так и из-за возможного развития дополнительных побочных эффектов. Обсуждают дополнительные (к стандартной терапии) эффекты ивабрадина и омега-3 полиненасыщенных жирных кислот.
